The favorite golden line from one of the paper is “Many nuclear power plants in the US, the European Union and Russia are reaching the end of their design lifetime, while those elsewhere in Asia are much younger.” The golden line is taken from the document “ Can nuclear power help us avoid a climate change disaster”, by J. Johnson, published in Energy. I have chosen this line as a golden line as it states how the trend in alternative energy evolved during time and over different continents: there was a boom in building these reactors, after which they stopped, while in Asia, they have understand the importance of alternative energy would have over the world and have invested in creating new reactors.
